before i have the XOOPS 2.05 version, i can easily upload my blocks and modules but right now i cant do anything.. even when i try to upload polls module, it doesnt appear in my admin panel..it says "Unable to write to main menu" and before that happens it also says "failed open file"..in addition,i dont see my blocks when i make it preview...

all of this were working perfecly in my other host company..i think they had XOOPS 2.03 version..
What might be the problem? if anybody can help, that would be so thankful..

The Can't write to main menu error is because you haven't given the correct acces rights on the server for the cache folder. You need to chmod that folder to 777, and the contents of that folder to 666.

The Failed to open file error is due to the modules not being uploaded properly. Make sure that the directory stucture is like this:
[xoops site root]/modules/xoopspoll/xoops_version.php
[xoops site root]/modules/xoopspoll/language/english/
[xoops site root]/modules/xoopspoll/templates/
etc.
If there is any other way, the modules will not install or work properly.
