Big Problem with Protector

I have been having problems logging into one of my websites after moving to a new office and with a different ISP

My hosting company sent me this today

Quote:

"Wb site component considers IP 81.90.225.242 as spam both while authorize as Frank and as a guest (see screenshot)
According to code it uses http://www.stopforumspam.com. as a database
This web site http://www.stopforumspam.com. has fixed IP 81.90.225.242 3 cases of sending spam (screenshot)
Apparently, your IP is being used by another users of your ISP provider that were caught as spam senders
or it was used for spam before it was given to you

you should have clean IP address that is not listed in the search results of http://stopforumspam.com/search"

so, i checked Protector and sure enough, that IP was all over it.

I cleared the log and tried to add that ip as a "good" ip. As soon as I hit enter I got this

Quote:

This account is disabled for your IP by Protector.
Clear cookie if you want to access this site as a guest.

If I clear the cookies I can see the website but I can't log in. If I try I get

Quote:

This account is disabled for your IP by Protector.
Clear cookie if you want to access this site as a guest.

I need to fix this ASAP!

Using your FTP, you need to go to the folder:

/xoops_lib\modules\protector\configs/

and delete the file group1xxxx file
