Is xoops suitable for travel blog?

Hi, I just start run travel website about trips around Europe - youlle.com/ It's powered by wordpress, but I kinda don't like this CMS.

I would like to switch to something else. I want to have also forum and small store (for travel tips ebooks).

Do you think that Xoops is suitable for such site?
If yes, which modules would you recommend me?
Do you know any live travel site sample?
