some modules (eg XOOPS Web Tools) will show no name on the modules list after i install (even though it said successful installation). when i try to uninstall, i get this error: Quote:
Fatal error: Call to a member function getInfo() on a non-object in /hermes/bosweb25b/b953/d5.gallonst/public_html/glider/freegames/modules/system/admin/modulesadmin/main.php on line 394


in order for a module to work, you just upload the folder into /modules/ right?

please read the description of the module. it is made for XOOPS 2.0.x.
these are very old modules and there is no guarantee that they will work with the current version.

i'm looking for those versions of xoops, but i only find "core language" files?

they aren't on the download xoops core page, though.
