Hi all,

I'm meeting more and more bug with Xnews...

I did clone the module 5 monthes ago and it worked fine. But i can not do it again for some weeks...

Today i tried again, updating files with last from SVN... and i now get a blank page with this module with this message :
Fatal error: Call to a member function getVar() on a non-object in /home/users5/e/mysite/htdocs/include/cp_header.php on line 33


or trying to update the module :
Fatal error: Call to a member function getInfo() on a non-object in /home/users5/e/mysite/htdocs/modules/system/admin/modulesadmin/main.php on line 439


XOOPS Version XOOPS 2.5.1a
PHP Version 5.3.5
mySQL Version 5.1.37-1ubuntu5.5-log

Xnews : 1.71

Any help would be appreciate,

No bug here (except pdf plugin, but already noticed and not related to your pb).

... be careful if you want to update your cloned version : for each clone, nw_ prefix become nw+1_ (nw2_ , nw3_, nw4_, etc...)

What was your problem(s) exactly (before update) ?

For some weeks, i can clone files on ftp, getting each time a nwX_ different... but once in modules admin, when i want to install it, i got a blank page...

Now, i can not even access to my module on frontsite !!!

Don't really understand what i changed because i often update my modules with last svn... Could it come from last system module or last xnews updates ...?

I've always cloned xnews 1.71 in a local environment, without problem. Prefix are also numbered into your database, be careful !

Yes they are,

I have nw_ for my "pages" module and nw2_ for my news up to yesterday...

But i think i did something wrong yesterday, trying to have a third clone... and i can not access my modules anymore
