I have searched the Forums and Modules section for a recipe module. I am new here and feeling like the question has been asked before only I don't see it - please go easy on me :)

It's hidden with a French name: Recette.

Thanks! Wouldn't have thought about that one. :) This is my first time really looking at Xoops - off to a great start - Ha!

It's very old, not supported anymore, and very slow to use

Try "Publisher". I've got over 12,000 recipes on my site using it

I agree with you,publisher is the best choice, especially the newest version,it can show latest news in a jquery block.
also there is another solution : TDMDownloads,you can add ingredients to the extra fields, and add the recipies
the road of success is always under construction

Thanks for the feedback! chefry could you send me a link to your site, I'd like to have a look at the end product.

I would like to give site visitors the ability to add recipes - Not sure if that makes a difference.
