I noticed that a category with 962 articles will not delete

You have to delete individual articles to below 550 before the category will delete.

That should be fixed

Also, I always thought it would be nice to have a search function in the back end, so you can search articles for editing or deleting

Totally agree!!!!!!!

Regarding deleting Categories with lots of articles, I had that problem also faced with images problem which was overloading memory so I did add more memory in my php.ini file from 32MB to 128MB and everything worked better after that.

Yeah, but you can't do that if it's not your server.

Another suggestion would be checkboxes beside the articles in the back end article list, combined with a select all button to delete more than one article at a time.

phpmyadmin has it (and so does almost everything else), and it would be great to see in Publisher

Well.. I have to report one bug in publisher.

When I installed on utf8 site [in local], all tables that publisher made are latin1-swedish... not utf8-general-ci, so I converted it with phpmyadmin.

Has anyone else have this problem? (Using latest version from trunk)

Check /sql/mysql.sql
If there this collation is specified, it should be removed.
Else your database has this collation as its default (altough the other tables can have been created as UTF-8).

Well I don't see any collation defs in publisher's sql, and my database seems to be utf8. I have no problems with other modules.

Hm.

And mainfile.php, global.php and xLanguage (if in use) do all specify UTF-8?
Check what the queries section tells when doing the install.

Excuse me, but this is my thread about "Suggestions" for Publisher.

Support problems should be in another thread

I have another suggestion for Publisher

I think the main problem with pagewrap is that all the html files have to be in the same subdir.

I would suggest incorporating something like WRAPS into the pagewrap function, and allow different subdirs

For example, I set the category, then load all html files in a specific subdir.

all of those files become pages in that category
