True WYSIWYG?

Is there any way to actually have the code a WYSIWYG edit create get stored on the page?

I am using the Wiwimod module with Mastop with TinyMCE.

However, every time a page is saved half the code is completely stripped. Any ideas how to stop this? Security isn't too big of a risk.

In the configuration file of Tinymce, the allowed tags are specified. For enabling additional tags and attributes as eg object for video embedding, you must add them. (search for object and tiny)

Isn't there a way to just allow all tags and attributes?

Which file is this in?

Also, does it affect the site globally or do I need to edit this per module or editor I use?
