Friends i am new to xoops and newbb but i did install the xoops editor and framework art as well as newbb 3.0.8 on a new install of 2.4.4 I have 2 issues so far.

1) Main forum is blank, all white page

2) forum admin works but i cannot edit forum, it shows blank page as well. Everything else in forums admin works fine.

I did install the xoopspoll module as it was looking for it.

php: 5.2.13
mysql: 5.1.45
apache: 2.2.15
architecture: x86_64

Any help would be great. I am a former php-nuke user of 10 years and was hoping to move away as the code was old and unsecure and xoops was one of the few that offered a xoops forum and that is a BIG plus for me.

I uninstalled and re-installed 4.0 and all is ok. Must be a bug or something with the older version of newbb and xoops 2.4.4

Friends i have newbb finally working and i can see forums with new topics in them but not the empty forums. How can i make it so i can view all forums and not just the ones with new topics in them.

Don't use 4.0 until the Final version comes. Stay with 3.08
Other Frameworks are not needed anymore. Make sure the original files from the 2.4.4 distribution are on your server. They contain all what you need.

(threads merged, for not dispersing the problem and solution.)

Thats great news friend. So i can just delete the 4.0 and revert back to my original framework and all should be cool right ?
