Hi guys,

It started several days ago. I started to get like several dozens of registrations every day. Those are spamers posting links in their "about me" section. They do even upload avatars! I've run out of ideas on how to stop them. Had to disable registration at all. I run the latest version of XOOPS with protector enabled and all. I even have reCaptcha. Any suggestions?

Had the same problem here. Maybe a trend? I've made it so all registrations come to me for approval first. Not a perfect solution, but all I could think of

[edit: I'm referring to my own sites, of course. Not xoops.org]

I still wonder if those are bots or people. But how the hell do bots upload avatars?
