I'm looking if there is option to join XOOPS and Moodle. I use Moodle but I have one XOOPS site where I would like to give users chance to learn something from Moodle. I want bypass (can't find better word) dubble registration of my users on XOOPS and Moodle CMS.
There was (very long ago) some moodle module for Xoops, but I'm not sure if it can work with latest XOOPS version.

If someone know solution for my problem I will appreciate it very much!
Thans in advance

When you install moodle there are various options for authentication. If you choose "external database" you can map the fields from your xoops_user table to the associated fields in moodle.

Hmmm, nice. I must try that.
Thanks for great idea!

One question: Is there then possibility to register via moodle, or all users must register on XOOPS part?

Obviously, when Moodle uses the XOOPS user table, all registrations have to be done in XOOPS.
