After further testing a little this.

Only have jquery included once in the webpage, otherwise it doesnt seem to work. So if theme has jquery included, a module also has it included the instant messenger doesnt do well :S

@someone lyou'll probably read this later. I have problem to make your block apear, maybe from conflick with my own version :S, but i tried also with IM removed, but I like the idea to use preloading jquery :)

XIM is working great on my 2.5a test installation. One comment, I think it would be better if it wasn't aligned right, but draggable somewhere else. Functionally excellent though

Sounds good, someone. One other comment, it works with Japanese fonts too

@someone actually not a bad idea to hide when no users are online :)

someone version doesn't work either

Get this Firebug error:

uncaught exception: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: [native code] }

The chat window pops up for both users, but the text isn't transmitted and when you write the text is says "undefined: " in front of it.

Also, I think it would be more intuitive if the block was shown all the time, maybe with a "No users online", instead of just disappearing when there are no people to talk to.

Any ideas how to get around the theme jquery thing?

I discovered this "undefined" bug also in my tests and found this is due to a javascript conflict.

When I removed any other instance of javascript toolset (mooTools, jquery etc) from the theme, and only run locally from the blocks everything was ok :)

The part with being visible all the time could work, maybe with a common multible guest chat version also :)

OK. It seems like the javascript conflict is the main hurdle to overcome right now.
