hi guys,

i want to set up a new glossary based website and i need the latest releases of lexikon or wordbook compatible with 2.4. the latest versions of lexikon seems to be v1.0 and it doesn't seem to be working with XOOPS 2.4 (correct me if i'm wrong), the latest wordbook seems to be 1.6 and was released in 2005, although i've seem some mentions of 1.7 RC4 but i can't find it.

I tested briefly Lexikon 1.0 with 2.3.3, so I expect it will run on 2.4.4 also.
There must be in some files (comment_new, submit and request) $HTTP_GET_VARS changed to $_GET and the same for _POST to make it run with PHP 5.

yes it runs on 2.3 alright. but i tried it on 2.4 on my local machine and it fails to load admin interface - blank page, although user interface works alright.

About Lexikon module (download link), version 1.0 RC :

• seems to work without difficulty with XOOPS 2.4.4. No error appears in Debug mod

• 1 fatal error with XOOPS 2.4.5beta

well yeah i've found a diff version (i guess the one you link to from here) and it works on 2.4.4. thanks

Lexikon is now 1.1 : thanks to tyty, wysiwyg editors are supported.

Tested with XOOPS 2.4.4 and 2.4.5

Module repository has been updated : Lexikon 1.1

Hi Burning,

Thanks a lot for releasing Lexikon1.1. I really want to use this module on my site. however on my test system I am getting the following error:

INSERT INTO xoops_lxcategories (categoryID, parent, name, description, weight) VALUES ('', '0', 'Disease & Bacteria', 'Disease & Bacetrias', '1')
Error number: 1366
Error message: Incorrect integer value: '' for column 'categoryID' at row 1

I can fix them by removing categoryID (or default colum), from all insert queries. I am just wondering if there is any easy way to fix. or would you like to release a next version fixing this issue.

my environment details.

XOOPS Version - XOOPS 2.3.2
PHP Version - 5.3.0
MySQL Version - 5.0.67-community-nt-log
Server API Version - apache2handler
OS Version - WINNT

Only tested on XOOPS 2.4.4 and 2.4.5, sorry

About 2.4.4 (in local environment), I have just noticed a bug : if you edit a definition that contains a simple quote ('), an error message appears.

I haven't tested this feature with XOOPS 2.4.5

Module repository updated right now (still v1.1).

Tyty has corrected a bug about simple quote in title definition and title category.


@deepak267 : have you try Disease and Bacetrias instead of Disease & Bacetrias ?
