this would very much improve the social and interaction among members if there is something like the chat and messaging system like facebook or gmail.

The closest i found was this

I would love to see this integrated into XOOPS and blow away the ranking for CMS!

It looks very nice! I hope, somebody will integrate it into XOOPS.

Yea! but we need permission from the author..
hmm that may jeopardize the "license purchase" thing he stated on the site.

few months ago I made some tests with this chat then I had more time. I integrated the user database but did not pass the communication between users. Simon gave me a hand if I remember correctly

this could be integrated into the user account where the username can be click and msg instantly !

need to start learning php and sql now.

That license looks a bit worrying though...
