Hello,
I am using XOOPS 2.3 I installed it though my host provider software installatron but I installed few modules like free games module and dryfire game. But when I tried to deactivate free games module by simply unchecking the active check box and clicking submit it took me to system configuration page and and modules are not deactivating.
Also I tried with the action button appearing right side it took me to update option.
Please help to deactivate this module.

Are there any messages with debug switched on (in the preferences)?
How many modules do you have installed?
Is it possible to deactivate the module (do not uninstall!) after the games module in the list?

(Make sure you have full backup: files + db)
