Hi everyone,

I am having weird characters showing up in RSS, can anyone suggest how to correct this:

I have the same problem on my site. Some chars such as ćđč etc are displaying as č, ž etc...

I am using utf-8, what about you?

Same here. UTF-8 encoding is on the whole site. But, main RSS feed is OK. Only RSS 'by categories' is broken.

If you have an UTF-8 site and db, I think you can simply remove all xoops_utf8_encode calls from the file eg:
$tpl->assign('channel_title', xoops_utf8_encode($sitename));
=>
$tpl->assign('channel_title', $sitename);
etc.
