How to change what file volblack uses as a banner?

I cannot seem to find where the theme volblack defines its banner. I can save over the banner file but it is a JPG and I want to use a GIF. Any help would be appreciated. (I have looked in xobanner.html does not seem to define the file)

not sure if I got it right, but have you tried to change it in the admin - system - banners?

I have commercial banners disabled sorry should have said that...

Take a look at \css\style.css seartch for ->background: url(../img/h4.jpg)<-
