Hi everyone,

I installed the exnews2 theme on my website and made it the default theme. But, it says empty cell up top on both sides. I edited theme.html to take out the words empty cell..and I renamed it..I also took out those whole lines and no luck. Does anyone know how I can take out empty cell
? It would be appreciated... the website is http://www.anyalliance.com/forum thanks!

Hi,

I have repeatedly followed the steps mentioned here to remove the "blank cell" in the exnews and exnews2 themes.

Any other suggestions?

I love this theme and would really like to use it.

TIA

Welcome to the XOOPS fora!

If you have the latest XOOPS 2.3.x, then the caches are moved to xoops_data. Clear the subdirectories there.
Clear also your browsers cache.

Thank you, ghia.

I found the answer in another thread so I am posting here for the next person who needs it..the modify template switch in Admin Panel/Preferences/General Settings, needs to be turned on in order for the changes to take effect.
