Pagination in different modules

In most of the modules (for example in smartSection) pagination is done in a way like
Pages: (1) 2 3 4 ... 28 »
Or
Pages: « 1 2 3 (4) 5 6 7 ... 28 »
Is it possible to have complete list of pages available all the time??

In the Php code, you must find something like this :
$xoopsTpl->assign('pagenav', $pagenav->renderNav());


change it to (for example) :
$xoopsTpl->assign('pagenav', $pagenav->renderNav(9999));
