Something unusual happens, the same place where I see it with Firefox looks good in the characters, but I have problems with IE 7 with accents, the child ... etc. ...

¡Regístrese Ahora! (Firefox)

¡Reg?strese Ahora! (Ie7)


The configuration server is utf8_unicode_ci

And another interesting thing ... in the upper left Firefox appears with these symbols:



But with IE7 it is not displayed.

In theme.html file option charset is this:

charset = <$ xoops_charset) (> "

Any idea?

if I use the theme of oginal Xoops, the problem disappears, I have to change?

hi,

look in translation file global.php

ex :
//%%%%%                LANGUAGE SPECIFIC SETTINGS   %%%%%
define('_CHARSET', 'ISO-8859-1');
define('_LANGCODE', 'fr');

Why use the theme default if the problem disappears?

In http://validator.w3.org.....result:

Character Encoding mismatch!

The character encoding specified in the HTTP header (iso-8859-1) is different from the value in the XML declaration (utf-8). I will use the value from the HTTP header (iso-8859-1).
