hello brothers im new here and i have one problem can some one help me please. this is problem

WARNING: File /home/www/win32.ch/xoops/mainfile.php is writeable by the server.
Please change the permission of this file for security reasons.
in Unix (444), in Win32 (read-only)


im going here and i don`t k`now what to change please help me

Hi,

you can use your ftp client to chage properties (CMOD) of the file. Make it 444...
..

hmm i don`t understend u bro can u tell me what to change in this location www/win32.ch/xoops/mainfile.php thnx for your question

FTP client = software you use to upload files to your webspace.

Use this to find mainfile.php on the server. In most FTP clients you can right-click on the file and then select the "CHMOD" option for that file.

Mainfile php must be set to CHMOD = 444 as that is "read only".

Mainfile.php contains some important and sensitive information about your webspace such as your database username and password. Not setting the CHMOD to 444 will mean that others can see the information in the file.
