Could someone point me in the right direction to change the meta description for my website? I've tried index.html, mainfile.html and various theme files, but can't find the line that states:
"XOOPS is a dynamic Object Oriented based open source portal script written in PHP."

It's coming up in search engines despite that I've added the phrase I want in the XOOPS admin area. So I figured I need to change something manually in a file.

Look in:
Control panel | system admin | preferences | meta tags and footer

also check site name and slogan in

Control panel | system admin | preferences | general settings
