Defining Search Modules.

Hi There,

I'm trying to figure out where we set wether or not a module is included in the Global Search. I want to remove a module from being searched, but I have no idea where to find this information.

I would recommend using this excellent module called 'Happy Search' which is much better that the standard XOOPS search and also allows you include/exclude a module in the search through the admin page.

Not 100% sure, yet XOOPS looks for include/search.inc.php if that is removed, then some modules shouldn't have search....be careful though on which, as some modules have built in search also………

Hi,

Edit the file xoops_version.php
Search this line : $modversion['hasSearch'] = 1;
Replace 1 by 0
Save your file
Update the module
