Ok- I (not only) have serious issue here.

Why is so that after insalling some modules u cannot change blocks anymore as there is message that u don't have premmision to blocks section.

In my specyfic case it was smartsection, and wf-channels that made me uanble to edit blocks...

Whats is the reason?

Haven't seen it. If you turn on debugging mode, do you get any helpful error messages? Not only in errors, but look in the SQL queries as well to see if there is an error there. Report back from that. Which module? If you deactivate one or the other or both? Help us to re-create the problem and give a full listing of modules JIC.

there is not much to recreate.

I started today allover again.
Installed 2.0.18 and some modules. After i installed eg module
"article" or "smartSection" or "Wf-channel" i'm no longer enable to change blocks in admin menu.

It keep saying that I don't have premmision to blocks section.
But i DO(checked it). When all of this modules are OFF its ok.

I would say that is obvious and major bug somewhere here

ok i did same operations on another host and... no problem...

so it may depend from mysql/php version:

working on:
Software server Apache
PHP version 4.4.4-8+etch4yoyo
MySql version 5.0.45-Debian_1yoyo3-log

not working on:
Software server Apache/2.2.3 (Linux/SUSE)
PHP version 5.1.2
MySql version 5.0.26

PHP Version: php5-5.1.2-29.45
MySQL Version: mysql-5.0.26-12.13
Web Server Software (Apache/IIS/Other): apache2-2.2.3-16.9
