i want a small, simple, basic forum !

which forum module should i download? i downloaded newbb, but as expected it is designed for huge forums with categories, subforums, many options, et cetera... i want to keep it very simple! just ONE forum, as a small part of a website... so should i try to adapt the newbb codes or is there an alternative?
thanks

Newbbex is an enhanced and php5 compatible simple yet easy forum module. The basic of this forummodule lays in NewBB.
NewBb and Newbbex are the most simple forummodules you can get.
If you don't want categories and subcategories, than just don't create them
If you don't want to use the options, then disable them. You can keep it simple yourself just by creating one forum and disable the extra options.

Another easy forum to setup is d3forum from GiJoe. You can find it here. It's still in beta (0.80) but it's been very stable during testing so far...
