i was trying to our SMART PROFILE
but its available for XOOPS 2.16
i now have XOOPS 2.17
dont know if it works with latest yet
nor had i gotten it to work properly in the beginning

so

is there another module or hack to install which would allow me to have users post comments on other users profile pages?



Also

is there a way i can change the LAYOUT of a users profile page?
Id like to set things into their own "blocks" lets say or at least clean it up because at present sections are just kinda floating around on the page

its an HTML page and its just full of smarty codes and form elements so that should be ok

Ill just make a copy under a different name and edit this orignal one
If i mess it up
ill just upload the renamed one and change it to system_userinfo again


however the first part of my above question is still a mystery
