Hello All, I am running XOOPS 2.0.16 and I want to add a personal page module to the site. I'd really like for some sort of page where member's can talk about themselves, upload a photo or two, and add some other information. I looked in the module section and couldn't find a personal page module at all :(

Does anyone know of a really good one? Even if it cost's? Thanks!

in edituser.php, users can edit "extra info" to talk about themselves.

Try UserPages Very simple to use and administer. Works well on 2016. See Helpxoops.info for example.

/modules/userpage/?page_id=19342

PAGE_ID=?
That's not good.

If anything, it would be great to have something like:
/modules/pages_mod/repository_folder/page_name.ext_optnal
I know it is too much to ask, but is it possible? At least:
/modules/pages_mod/?page_name

Unless you need to target the page from an external link, in which case I agree dynamic URLs are a pain, I don't see why page ID should be a problem if the content can be used as an identifier. Search engines don't have a problem with dynamic URLs anymore. I have a Zen Cart site full of them and Google still deep-indexes it.

There is is a mod for XOOPS that utilises Apache mod-rewrite, but I really doubt if it is worth using now.
A thread is for life. Not just for Christmas.
