Using the latest xoops. When I want to update my avatar which is within all the limits I get this message:

"Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/hskinn13/public_html/kernel/object.php on line 954"

Any suggestion?

I have the same problem. Some users can upload their avatar and some users don't. Rank or user group is not the issue.
I'm using XOOPS 2.2.3 with cbb 2.3.

I think that is has maybe something to do with the old avatar of the user. If I find a solution, I will let it know.

Me too. XOOPS 2.2.3 and latest cbb. I have the problem on my live site as well as on my local test system (without cbb or any other modules)! After uploading a new avatar I get a blank site. The debuger tells me:
"Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in ...\kernel\object.php on line 954".

Strange to say the uploaded avatar in fact is successfully saved in the upload folder. You can check this on admin site (avatar lists). Nevertheless the avatar is not shown in the user profile.

Is there still no resolution for this problem? I am really in a fret for this reason. Two different systems, different MySQL and PHP versions, different modules installed. May it can be caused thus a system setting? Ive googled the whole web, I already tried everything possible.

We need help! Where are all the professionals, the programmer, the gods?
Excuse my sarcasm but I still hope there is one person out there who can help us.

Please ensure this is reported at the sourceforge site, although I suspect it may already have been.
