site hacked, how to update it?

This morning, my site was hacked...

The hacker left a news:

Quote:

Hacked by ... Excuse me for any inconvenience, but your XOOPS is bugged.
Please update it.

I use the XOOPS version 2.0.9.2

How can I update it?

What version have I to install?

After the update, is it possible that same modules doesn't work?

Please, help me.

Upgrading from any XOOPS ranging from 2.0.7 to 2.0.13.2 (using the full package)

It is possible some things may not work. You would be best testing on a local machine (use XAMPP or something similar) before upgrading to find out what.

remember to backup site & database first!

but if some things doesn't work, then i have to use the old version and the site can be hacked again...
