Yes....it contains extra functions that are now used, as the last update for XOOPS was 2.0.16, they are not included in 2.2.5rc2....
Also i didn't to begin and noticed it going slower; then remembered to have a look what that note was, and after adding them it worked better.
Yet we could do with a download of only them files, for all 2.2 users

A downgrade script has been available for 2.2.x for a while, to allow people to upgrade to the more advanced version of 2.0.16.

RC2 has been mentioned and available on the XOOPS Sourceforge site for a while. I expect that due to lack of feedback from people, it has not been made a final release of 2.2.5 yet.

RC2 works great with lots of modules. The ONLY one I have found that doesn't work is the SimpleGallery version 1. Also there are a few little PHP errors in the admin section like:

BUT I'll bet that has been worked out since the November RC2 release. I hope they release 2.2.5 soon. It's alot cooler than 2.0.16.
