Due to a very unfortunate turn of events at my "day job", I now find myself forced to sell my Internet holdings. You can read the full story at the MyWebResource Blog.

If you or someone you know is in the market for a website or domain name, my misfortune could be to your benefit.

Best regards,

James

Thank you for the sentiment. The last thing I want to do is sell of what I've worked so hard to build, but sometimes, life throws you a curve ball and you have to make adjustments.

This is one of those times.

Wow... you can guess my sentiment here. And you probably can do with less sentiment and more help in getting this done asap. I'll send this to my network, and we'll see if something comes up for you.

To the community: the xoops.info domains, if we can find a webmaster as dedicated and productive as James, the XOOPS Foundation will consider buying it from James. But it'd have to be actively maintained and expanded. Anyone willing to take on that job?

Herko

James I am very sorry to hear this. Hopefully the clock will turn soon into better perspectives for you and your family. Who knows somebody from this community can give you a job.

@ Herko: Apart from who is going to 'webmaster' these websites I think the foundation has to buy those domains.

@all,

Thank you all very much for the support. It means a lot to me and my family.

RE: XOOPSinfo domains...

I would rather these domains end up under the control of the XOOPS foundation as their sole purpose was to promote XOOPS. If the XOOPS foundation would like to take ownership, I would be willing to serve as an interum webmaster until a suitable replacement could be found.

Again, thank you all for your support.

Best regards,

James

Hi James,

I am sorry that you and your family are going through rough times.

Two things that might help a little....

1. If you'd like to move your sites to my server for awhile, with gratis hosting by me, let me know. I can host you so long as the sites don't consume a gzillion MBs. I can do that much to help keep you in the fold.

2. You might try joining my Linkedin community (some 100,000 plus contacts to see if anyone can help you find employment).

Just email me with your preferred email address and I'll send you a link.

"May the road rise to meet your feet."
Pax vobiscum,

may the road rise to meet your feet!
