Are there any user guides, documentation or online pages?
Specifically user guides for the end user of a XOOPS system (a general customer, site visitor or internal employee)?

Whats the best method/module to implement an end user guide into a XOOPS system?

Many thanks,

visit my site, i created the theme and everything
http://shapep.freehostia.com

there were alot more things i wanted to add in the articles, like a guide to creating xhtml valid themes and search engine optimisation.

also add all the links to resources, as well as tips and tricks.

but i am only one man lol

Good work, it looks nice.

Im not sure if its what im looking for though.
I am working for an already installed and developed XOOPS system. I want 'End User Guides' to explain how to use my system.

As modules are very similar for all XOOPS users, I was hoping there were existing end user guides that could help me?

Paul

o ic.

i was going to make an animated tour of xoops. where it shows how the admin side of XOOPS operates.

if you heard of demoshield, you can capture mouse movements and images.

and even present in your site via activex or a plugin.

my version of demoshield was old so i could only produce .exe file lol

Hi - have been on holidays - try this for starters:

New users should always checkout the following:
1. Documentation - linked on the left. Specifically the administration manual
2. The FAQ section - linked on the left - specifically the sections on gloassry, beginners first steps, modules, blocks and themes. There are links to visual tutorials here.
3. The search function on the top right.
Please check also the read B4U post link below if you have problems.

For Visual tutorials please go here

But are these not things for a new user (XOOPS Newby) installing/creating a XOOPS system and not really usefull for 'end user' using the system the 'XOOPS Newby' has created?

Looks like ill go it alone, start from scratch

I wrote an end user guide you can download it here. It covers generic things like registering, logging in, searching etc etc. Feel free to adapt to suit your own site.
