Using "News module", I have created an Article with "Extended Text" as follow:

[ img align=left]file://192.168.3.2/d$/public/posting%20mails/image002.gif[/img]

This is a link to our file-server and to the image file "image002.gif". The image displays prefectly fine on Internet Explorer, but not on FireFox.

I would be very grateful for any help.

P.S. XOOPS is installed on 192.168.3.9 which is a Ubuntu Lamp Server. The image would work for both IE and FireFox if it was saved on 192.168.3.9; but not on the file-server.

I think the URI's space (%20) does the trick!

Thanks for the reply, however problem still persists.

I have changed the file to "postingmails", hence the URI's space (%20) is not needed anymore; but it still only allows IE to display the image, FireFox still won't work.

More suggestions?
