CCB 3.05 Notifications missing !

I recently installed CCB 3.05 Forum Module, but the "Notification Options" are missing for Registered Users, but are visible to Webmasters!

I presume this is something simple, but I cannot see what settings differ in the profiles to cause this?( all other Modules Notification Settings are visible to registered users)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you check in the CBB Preferences:
"Enable Notification"

Are your notifications set to be in a block or are they inline? You can check in CBB Admin -> Properties. If ther are in blocks then you will need to make the system notification block visible.

Not too sure if this is the issue but HTH.

Cheers.

Hi McNaz

Thanks for your reply.

I did not know that the Notifications Block existed ! - Anyway, when I installed this block, registered users could see the block, but no options were available, but webmaster account can see block with options!

The problem seems related to privileges, but I don't know where.

I had this problem a few months ago, and reinstalled the module from scratch, but that was before I went live - so can't do that now

Any ideas ?

Hi again.

Have you tried setting notifications to inline? That way you don't need the notifications block.

CBB Admin -> Properties -> Enable Notification -> Enable Notifications (both styles).

Also make sure that all your notifications are selected in CBB Admin -> Properties -> Enable Specific Events -> (Select all notifications).

Again, HTH.

Hi McNaz

Now we are getting somewhere !!

This worked, with the exception of "New Post (Full Text)" not showing - I had only enabled Global Full Text.

Why is this Full Text option (my users favourite) not available to registered users ?

Thanks for your help.

The forum privileges are the same for registered users and webmasters.
