Recent News Block Disapeared

I tried to get the recent news block to appear on both top page & news section and its now completely disapeared. I used the same proceedure that I used on the forum block (which worked) so I thought it would work with the news blocks.

Much to my dismay it didnt and also when i changed the news block back it has now gone from the top page aswell.

any idea how to fix this?

ahem, Problem solved.

When i went in and changed where the blocks should be shown I didnt select which category's should be used.

I feel a right idiot.



Hangs head in shame.
