First let me say those are awesome photos you have on your demo!

Not being familiar with your module I am not sure of the answer.

What I would really like to do is link to a picture lets say from a news story with a thumbnail and then open a lightbox from the thumbnail instead of going to the photo album.

Usergallery would be great. But then again it also needs an admin setting for max allowed DB space for usergalleries.
Second the ability a user of his own gallery can say if the picture can be used for sending as an Ecard (nice nice feature!) or not. This feature should also be possible as a standard admin setting per image.

Really good to see somebody is buzy with developing an image gallery with several great features!

WOW, Lightbox JS is very powerfull. I will made a powerfull feature with this tool. I have a little idea...

Indeed, the Lightbox gave me a very good idea for work as well

Anyway... the module looks excellent so far.. please consider an import script

And a Batch upload (Perhaps a feature where you can upload many images via FTP - and the module will look at the directory and add the images itself? Is that possible?)

@WarDick : take a look at Zoullou.net. I was posted an article with Lightbox demo
It's an amazing tool
I have 1 bug with it, close and loading aren't display. I will fix that later.
