Xoops version 2.0.14 verus version 2.0.13 compatability of modules

I've noticed in the module repository that the modules usually indicate version 2.0x and sometimes 2.013. My question is will the modules that indicate version 2.013 work with verion 2.014. Thanks in advance.

I recently upgraded to 2.0.14 and have not had any problems. I suggest searching the forums and FAQ's before installing any other modules for known problems if you are not sure if they will work correctly with the new version.

Updated modules releases have also been announced in the news section. Until our new site and module repository is up and running this seems to be where developers are annnoucing their work.

Basically this issue boils down to the fact that developers released their modules for the latest version, at the time 2.0.13.x. The changes in 2.0.14 shouldn't break any compatibility with any 2.0.13.x module out there. At all. SHould Anyways, if you do happen to find one for which the core is to blame, please let the devs here know.
