I recently upgraded from Google Map module 0.3 to 0.4 and I noticed that the map points no longer zoom to their preset level. When I click a map point the map moves to that point and the info flag opens up but it never zooms to the level set for that point. I followed all of the upgrade instructions. I even backed up version 0.3 completely uninstalled it and installed version 0.4 from scratch and I still get the same results. The category zoom level seems to be working fine it's just te map point zoom level that is not working. It stays at the zoom level of the category.

My XOOPS install is as follows:

-Windows 2000
-Apache 1.3.33
-PHP 4.4.1
-MySQL 4.1.14
-Xoops 2.2.4
-Google Map 0.4

Has anyone else run into this problem and do you have a fix?

I've installed version 0.4 clean and it works well with the exception of zooming. After creating a category and adding points when you try to view the points by clicking on them instead of zooming in to the preset level the map simply pans to that point, remaining at the level of zoom already being used. I've removed the mod, downloaded it again from the developers site (or another site at least) and reinstalled to have the same problems.

Any help out there??

a 0.5 version is out. Check here and download it

Version 0.5 (Marco)
- Added ability for users to add/modify their point by themselves (managepoint.php file). user's should be connected to perform that action
- Added some language defines
- Added "one point only per users" control
- Added diplay of user's profile info into markers (name, occupation), and link his xoops's profile
- Fix some translation issues for defines in Admin side
- Added some settings in Module Preferences for map size (height/width)

i will have a look at your problem and try to fix it quickly.
I have made more fixes yesterday, please monitor my website to detect any new version.
