Emails not being sent - lost password or registration

Hi,

I have a new 2.0.14 install on a 1 & 1 account. I have set mail to be php Mail(). But nothing seems to be sent. I have exercised this using the lost password and also get nothing with new registrations.

Anyone shed some light?

Try a search on losy password and emails not sending...there are loads of possibilities - what email address are you using and and spam filtering is with the end user are the first two questions that come to mind. But it can be more coplex than this.

Guessing by your name you are from uk? If so phpmail should work fine with 1&1.


1. Did it work in the past? Is it a fresh website?

2. here is a small php script that creates a form you can use to send a mail via phpmail. You can upload this to your webspace and send yourself a testmail with it to see if it only doesn´t work in XOOPS or in general
