OK here's the question why is it when I do a fresh install of...
xoops version 2.0.13.2 full install
(Most Stable is what is mentioned on download page)
I then turn on php debug and get multiple notices as seen here

example Fresh install

My server info...
Operating System : Linux
Apache version 1.3.34 (Unix)
PHP version 4.4.2
MySQL version 4.1.18-standard

Any answers .... actually any quick solutions...

I thank you for your quick and easy answer... But I am not new to this and I'm very aware that I can simply turn it off.. I truly want an answer to why this is like it is... And I am quit sure that everyone else is getting these notices.. But why bother having php debug if your simply going to ignore errors or warnings in code?

But again thank you for your input freind =)

These are not errors, they are just notices as a result of the coding differences in PHP versions (there's a better, technical explanation on the forum somewhere).

These notices have no effect on the performance of XOOPS and can be disregarded. Earlier versions of PHP doesn't show these notices.

Thank You msdana =)

Yes I noticed that they were notices or (warnings) Did you read as to wether or not these notices were going to be addressed or corrected?

It makes it a real pain if your trying to watch for real php code problems and have to go through this huge list of notices to find the true errors (wouldn't you agree =)

I would assume that it's hard to address all the notices because of the different versions of PHP that are used by the XOOPS users.

I get different PHP notices on two of my sites because they run different PHP versions.

Seems isn't a XOOPS issue as it is the PHP coding changes in each version of PHP. If the core team, every module developer and all XOOPS users used the same version of PHP, it wouldn't be an issue. Of course, then every time a new version of PHP came out, the core team and module developers would have to code for that version and users would need to move to that version. And we know that's not going to happen
