I use CBB 3 and i just wanted to know if there was a way of making a topic show up in all forums but without typeing it out for each one.

I have also found in CBB 3 if i make a javascript link in the forum so i can bring somthing up in a new window. When you click the link it works but then the main page comes up with the message
Not Found

The requested URL /xoops/modules/newbb/(tammairanslip); was not found on this server.
anyone got any ides on this.

Afaik not. However have a look at the forum onhttp://xoopsforge.com

There is also a subforum for feature suggestions.

Why not use block?
For a stand alone forum program, global "announcement" thread is a must-do; however, for CBB/newbb, as a forum module belonging to the XOOPS CMS, there are better ways for sticky or announcing threads
