When I hold my mouse over a menu option, a yellow caption popup appears with the name of the menu option that the mouse pointer is currently over.

Is there a way to prevent the yellow caption popup from appearing? I don't see any settings in the preferences to turn it off. I assume that it is triggered by JavaScript code. I'm using MultiMenu 1.8.

hello,
which menu do you use ?
i think you're talking about 'tooltip'.
multiMenu generates 'title' attributes, but it's the browser who manages that.
you can prevent this, by adding {alt} at the end of your menu's title.
leave blank after {alt}.
if you add something after {alt}, this will appear as tooltip, useful to display more info about a link.
I let you test.

Hi Blueteen,

Thank you for the information. I added {alt} to each menu option title, and that worked.
