Hi,

Which version of CBB is currently the most stable for a production environment? I see many versions, including 3.0 and 3.1. Is 3.1 the most stable and least buggy version?

I'm currently running XOOPS version 2.0.13.2. I've not yet installed any versions of CBB.

Seems some think it's great - others aren;t so sure - check the comments in this thread.

Go to The forum direct from the developer and see how it is coming along...they are discussing ideas for 3.02...so it has made progress...and actively developed and updated module is a good one...Xoops forge is probably the best place to find the recomended release.

Hi jensclas,

I read the comments prior to initially posting here, which just put more questions in my mind. As you mentioned, there seems to be a lot of mixed reviews on 3.0 and 3.1. I was just wondering if I would be better off using an earlier version of CBB, or going with 3.1. It is difficult to determine that by just reviewing the comments on the bugs, since the comments tend to focus on specific bugs, rather than on the module stability as a whole.

I usually wouldn't be so concerned about this, but there are so many different versions of CBB that it has become kind of confusing.

Dave, as I remember there isn't a CBB 3.1 yet.
A CBB 3.02 will come out in a couple of days.

As for no comment on stability, either it is not a problem or the module is not worthy of comment at all.

I mistyped the version number. I apologize for that. I meant 3.01, not 3.1.

very stable indeed.its install in my site with 115000 posts in which 60000 posts deleted and 40000 posts edited atleast 1 time and have 20 moderators and admins.i think its enough for test it in a busy forum.
