I am new to xoops, and I would like a XOOPS site, with phpbb forums, joined together... I downloaded the x-phpbb thing, and I don't know what to do... the directions are not very good.. Can I get a step by step instruction, to show me how to login to XOOPS and phpbb one time, instead of having to register and login to both?

i havent had the chance to play with the X-PHP but i dont think that they would have left the bridge out of the setup.
check to see if you have another login bock in you system blocks.

this would be the case if you had X-IPB

what do u mean? Check the blocks in admin to see? Or what do you mean bridge or setup... So, phpbb forums would be installed automaticalyf with xoops?

whats the url of your site?
and whats the url of the phpBB2 you installed?
what the version of XOOPS your running?

My site is tinaturner.mobstop.com but I tried adding the x-phpbb thing different there, so it doesn't show up... So my XOOPS site, ishttp://tinaturner.mobstop.com/xoops . My forum ishttp://tinaturner.mobstop.com/TradePost.

update.
we have taken this topic into IM's
to show what will happenm heres a demo.

testing site

this site only has the X-phpbb mod on it.
it is 2.0.9.2 sence this is the last version of XOOPS the x-phpbb mod works on.

at this point in time
i cant find a good version of 2.0.9.2 to start with so i found 2.0.7 and updated it to 2.0.9.2
