Okay, I haven't ever used XOOPS in my life and am a little confused. I'm new here *waves*.

Sorry if this has been posted before, but I couldn't find anything completely related to this. If it's already been posted, please give me a link and I'll be more than happy to delete this post.

1.) Anyhoo, I'm trying to find a way to have my own banner at the top instead of it saying "Xoops" at the top. I found how to add a banner on the page, but not how to replace that image.

2.) Also, I wanted to know how I could add content to that first page. I'm guessing I just have to add a block to that page, but I wanted to add the news from another page and only have those two pages list that news article. Help?

And the link to the page (if you need it) is mypassions.org/xoops I got the XOOPS software (2.0.13.1) from Fantastico.

3.) Oh, that's another thing. For right now, I have a redirect so that when you go to mypassions.org it will take you to another site instead, but if I didn't have it, the only page that would appear is a blank page with a bunch of links to the software I have installed. I know if I make and index.html or index.php page, it will replace that, but how do I make the main page (mypassions.org/xoops) appear when you type mypassions.org in a browser without using a redirect?

Rather than answer each of your posts I suggest the following: Follow the link in my signature below to where you will find links to docs and tutorials to help you with being new to xoops.

Secondly make it a definate task to browse through all the FAQ's.

As for your banner go to this thread

When you use the search on the forum try different key words too - remember words with only 3 letters are ignored so new banner wouldn't help much but change banner and change XOOPS logo will. Hope this helps
