I have XOOPS installed along with several modules. Everything seems fine running at localhost but when putting in the URL for the site from another PC, the URL in the address bar "changes" to "http://localhost/xoops/". i.e. it looks like the PC's browser gets redirected to look in its "own localhost" for the site.??
This happens whether I try to load it from the URL name or the IP.
I have other websites running on the same server (e.g. squirrelmal) and they load fine from the same PC's.

you have to change the xoops_url in the mainfile.php and afterwards update the system module
