Hi all!

Question one:

The forum is so small when it's displayed in XOOPS. Can I tell the forum to open in a new window? This is XOOPS standard forum I'm talking about.

I use XOOPS 2,0,13,(2)

Question two:

If I use PHPBB's forum can I somehow use the same account that I have in XOOPS?

Question one:
You can use multimenu to build your menu's, it has the option to open links in new windows, but I don't think that will solve your problem. I think what you need to do is remove the blocks from the the NewBB pages (go through each block, and remove 'NewBB) So that the forum will span the whole page.

Question two:
Take a look here: http://www.bbpixel.com

With some clever use of themes, you can turn off either the left or right block columns - so your forum can use more of the screen space... I think Kurbik flexible uses this technique.

If you want to use phpbb - you can find it at http://www.bbpixel.com - but please note that this requires hacks, and as such is not as easily upgradable as a native XOOPS forum like CBB
