Hello,
I was hoping someone has already done this. I am using news module version 1.4 for xoops. I need to put some google ads in between the news article. How can I do this?. Can someone share with me how to easily do this?. Do I edit the article.php file?. if so where do I put the adsense code?. may be I have to put it in the template?. please show me ..

not sure exactly.. but probably somewhere in the template html file..

You could take a look at the AMS module, which is based on News. I think it allows per-article banners/advertisements.
