Dear m0nty: I updated my site to 2.2.4 and changed the line 45 as before but the problem doesn't fixed. The block doesn't show the true recent file that I added yesterday.

but the title is there?

the other could be different issue..

have you got cache enabled?

No, I have to change the line 45 to:

$download['title'] = substr($download['title'], 0, ($options[2] -1));

If the line 45 is not like above, the title is not there.
The cache anabled is off.

seems to be working for me..

recent downloads shows correctly.. newest 1st

top downloads shows most downloaded 1st..

ok keep it as substr if it works :)

regarding the other.. which block are u referring to?

Is it server problem? Because in Localhost in XOOPS 2.2.3 it works good. I use Recent Downloads block.

it's looking that way.. i can't replicate it on any of my sites or on localhost.. which is y it took some guesswork to narrow it down on the title.. it's certainly strange.. i haven't heard any1 else have this problem either..
