Running cbb 2.32 on XOOPS 2.2.3

The problem that I am having is I cannot seem to find any moderation options. I have set members as moderators, but under the dropdown option for the topics the only option that is available is print topic, I was hoping for others, such as make sticky and lock topic, since I cannot find it anywhere else, moderators do however get the edit and delete buttons at the bottom of each members posts.

I am not sure what has gone wrong.

Have you edited their accounts and gave them the rank of moderator?

I have tried giving them the rank of moderator, there is still no moderator options for users ranked as moderator and set as moderator for the Forum.

I also do not have these options as the webmaster rank and group.

I still cannot figure this one out.

edit - another observation

The dropdown menu for each post with the posters name in the top left also does not have any of the Send PM, view profile options. Its just their name, not sure if this is related or not.

If you click to edit the profile of the selected user, on the profile edit page you will find a dropdown list 7th entry down titled "User Level" it will give you a choice of moderator or webmaster, choose moderator and save your changes.

Hmm, on my end I'm looking at User Level which is radio button for Active, Inactive, and Disabled, right under that is a dropdown list labed rank with selections for Webmaster and Moderator. I have set this dropdown list to Moderator with no changes.

These are the steps I took to edit the user. Administration -> users -> find user -> select user (to view profile) -> edit profile button.

This is a little confusing in 2.2.3. You need to use this path to edit: admin/modules/profiles/users. Then find the user and add him/her. Then click edit. There you will see the drop down referred to above for moderator/webmaster.

I am running XOOPS 2.0.13.2. Just upgraded from 2.0.9.2. Updated all the modules via the admin panel.

I have logged on both as webmaster and as a user marked as Moderator for the forum. I still cannot see any option to mark a post as a sticky.

In my setup the topic options are check boxes below the body text field, not a drop down list as one poster mentioned. "Mark as Sticky" or similar is not displayed.

All suggestions for exposing this attribute are most welcome.

TIA,

- Mophilly

I've got cbb 2.3 and XOOPS 2.2.3. To make a topic sticky I view the topic (not the list of topics). Then I click on the "Topic options" list, and there's a Sticky option there.

There's another admin thing on the. It took me a while to find it. It's not on the admin side, it is on the user's side too. You can see it
- when you view the list of forums
- when you view a topic
You can't see it
- when you view the list of topics.
It's at the bottom right of the page, and just says "Admin"
